吉隆坡27日訊）以防治冠病疫情上的傑出表現，馬來西亞衛生部在2020年亞太全球健康頒獎典禮中獲“冠病管理年度卓越表現獎””，衛生總監丹斯里諾希山也被授予終身成就獎。
大馬醫療旅游理事會（MHTC）發表文告披露，我國在本屆總共獲26個獎項，再次奠定在有關領域的領導地位，私營醫療機構也因其持續卓越醫療和服務受認可。Advertisement
除了衛生部和諾希山因在管理冠病疫情上的優越表現獲獎外，MHTC首席執行員雪琳阿茲里也獲“醫療旅行傑出領導獎”。
雪琳阿茲里在受詢時表示，今年的冠病疫情中，馬來西亞醫療仍在努力地證明和實踐其卓越醫療服務，這證明了我們被譽為“全球醫療奇跡”的國際地位。
她提到，獲政府支持，加上私人醫療部門及所有行業參與者在整個價值鏈上專注和堅定地付出，馬來西亞醫療保健行業正出現積極的經濟回升。
她強調，馬來西亞的醫療保健旅游業已被公認為為振興經濟的主要動力，在2019年共獲17億令吉醫療收入，並為經濟貢獻了70億令吉。
亞太全球健康頒獎典禮今年邁入第5年，此獎項旨在表彰在醫療保健交付和患者體驗方面，具一致標準的亞太地區醫療旅游業參與者。
